Return to Hell in id Software’s latest action-packed iteration in the Doom series, Doom Eternal, when it launches this holiday season. The sequel to 2016’s Doom is set after the events of its predecessor, and once again, you’ll jump into the role of the ancient warrior known as the DOOM Slayer who makes his return to Earth to take on the demonic invasion that has taken over the land.
In Doom Eternal, you’ll uncover the origins of the Slayer as you take on a seemingly never-ending wave of hellish demons, steamrolling your way through twice as many demon types as there were in 2016’s Doom. The game will see the return of some fan favorite enemy types like the Pain Elemental, Archville and Arachnotron, as well as introduce brand new enemy types like the Marauder and the Doom Hunter.
Doom Eternal implements a brand-new element called Destructible Demons, which will show the continual degradation of an enemy’s body as you destroy it. Eternal also adds a new lives system that will allow Joueurs to find 1-ups around the game’s environment.
Multijoueur, of course, is a big part of what makes a Doom game a Doom game, and on top of the fan-favorite returning Multijoueur modes, id Software and Bethesda have added a new asymmetric Multijoueur mode called Invasion, which allows Joueurs to join the campaigns of their friends to take out demons.
Pulse-Pounding Soundtrack: Enjoy a hellish soundtrack composed by Mick Gordon to fuel your high octane return to Hell.
Twice the Enemy Types: Eternal will have twice as many enemy types than its predecessor. More hellish demons means more carnage for you to create.
New Mode: id Software will introduce an all-new asymmetric Multijoueur mode called Invasion that will allow Joueurs to join their friends in Hell.
Doom Eternal is set to release on November 22, 2019 for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Précommande and get the Rip and Tear Pack which grants you a DOOT Revenant player skin to use in Battlemode, a bonus campaign master level and a throwback shotgun weapon skin. A Collector’s Edition will also be released on that day, and it will include the game, a wearable Doom Slayer helmet, a lore book, steelbook, The Gift of Argent Power lithograph, the Doom Eternal and Doom 2016 digital soundtracks, the Year One Pass, demonic slayer skin, and a classic weapons sound pack.
A direct continuation to 2018’s smash hit, Doom Eternal once again puts Joueurs into the blood-soaked boots of the Slayer who now finds the demonic forces he clashed with on Mars invading Earth. The Slayer is equipped with a military’s worth of gear, including a new retractable arm blade and shoulder-mounted grenade launcher, but firepower alone isn’t enough to keep these monsters at bay.
The Slayer needs to keep moving. Even if he’s injured, ducking behind cover just makes him more vulnerable to attack. Développeur id Software calls this mindset “push-forward combat.” To survive you just need to keep Combat to reduce the threat and odds of taking a fatal blow. The Slayer can quickly dash between targets and chain them together for quick takedowns. He is also equipped with a new grappling gadget called the Meat Hook which he can use to quickly reduce the distance between him and a target. The Meat Hook is an instrumental component to exploration as well, allowing the Slayer to latch onto walls and dart across large gaps.
Doom Eternal’s story isn’t just for one player, but you won’t be helping a friend in need, you’ll be making their game harder. If you want to exchange blows with your buddy, you can enter their campaign through a mode called Invasion, which transforms you into a demon. Id Software is also creating standalone versus Multijoueur modes for Joueurs to square off in a more traditional battle setting.
Doom Eternal begins on Earth, but the battle will eventually be taken across the cosmos to new planets not yet seen in this series. Id Software and Éditeur Bethesda Softworks have the game locked and loaded for a March 20 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch, PC, and Stadia.

Une semaine sans mouvement, puis ça a débloqué. Le produit est bon. Le suivi est resté trop longtemps sur « en préparation ».
